The Forest II 12x50 model is designed for people who need a large magnification to observe objects from a distance. However, the 12x magnification is still so small that it is possible to make stable observations without using a tripod. Due to the relatively small diameter of the exit pupil, this model is better suited for daytime rather than night-time observations.

In the entire Delta Optical Forest II series, the optical system of the binoculars consists of 8 elements arranged in 6 groups, and in the construction we used high quality roof prisms made of BaK4 glass with corrected phase, whose reflective surfaces are covered with silver for an extremely sharp and bright image.

In addition, in Forest II models, all active optical surfaces of the lenses are covered with high quality multi-layer FMC anti-reflection coatings. Thanks to them, binoculars are characterized by high light transmission and neutral image colouring. The well-detected interior of the tubes prevents unwanted reflections and "ghosts" from appearing in the picture.

All binoculars from the Forest II series have a smoothly moving central focusing knob and individual diopter correction in the right eyepiece. Rubber adjustable twist-up eyepiece shells slide out, allowing you to adjust the eyepieces to the individual needs of the observer.

The Forest II series binoculars can withstand even the most difficult weather conditions. Their tight housing allows them to be used freely in wet conditions and even in the rain. Forest II binoculars can withstand 5 minutes of immersion in water, up to a depth of 1 m, and nitrogen filling prevents the optics from fogging up inside the housing.

The great advantages of the new models are their compactness and low weight. All Forest II binoculars with 50mm lenses have the same size of 165x133x60mm and an unladen weight of no more than 850 g. They are the perfect compromise between the small 42mm binoculars in the lens class and the much larger and heavier 56-63mm models. Thanks to the great versatility of the 50mm lens, the new Forest II models have been differentiated in terms of magnification, so that you can choose the right value for your needs.
