Delta Titanium 50 ED (7.5-22.5X65) Compact Spotting Scope
DeltaThe Delta Titanium ED II 15-45x65 Spotting Scope offers exceptional optical performance whilst being compact and lightweight.
The quadruple element optical system with extra low dispersion (ED) glass produces images with excellent correction of both chromatic aberration and any off-axis aberrations.
The wide-angle 15-45x zoom eyepiece has a field of view of 50 - 70 degrees (57m / 27m to 1000m / 1000m in metric scale) meaning you can see a wider view of the landscape around you at one time. The 15x to 45x zoom allows you to locate your target at a lower magnification and then zoom in for a more detailed, closer up view. A close focus distance of just 4m means that you can get an up close view of even the closest of birds, insects and more. Nothing stands in your way of observing insects or birds at 45x magnification even from a short distance.
An eye relief of 15 to 18mm makes your 65mm scope from Delta Optics comfortable to use even if you wear eye glasses.
If you’re looking for a spotting scope for hunting, at the shooting range, birding, or even setting up in your home to enjoy the view, then this all rounder spotting scope from Delta Optical is just what you need.
The Delta Optical Titanium 50 ED is an extremely compact, handy observation telescope with a modern design and very good optical properties. Thanks to its robust design, it is suitable for a wide variety of field observations - both professional and hobby - for nature observation, hunting and even for simple observations in the sky.
As with the larger Titanium 65 ED II telescope model, the very low-dispersion ED-glass lens design has made it possible to significantly reduce chromatic aberrations. This ensures that the image is extremely sharp and high-contrast and that the colours are reproduced with exceptional accuracy. In addition, Ed glass has allowed a short focal length of only 170 mm.
The distinguishing feature of the device is its small size. The Titanium 50 ED telescope is probably the smallest telescope currently produced with a 50 mm lens. It weighs only 500 g and is only 17 cm long.
The telescope is equipped with an eyepiece with a variable focal length for magnifications from 7.5x to 22.5x. The very large exit pupil diameter, reaching up to 6.7 mm, helps to make efficient observations even after dark. The telescope is fully waterproof, and filling its casing with vapour-free nitrogen prevents the optical elements from fogging up from the inside.
The Delta Optical Titanium 50 ED is an extremely well thought-out design. It is particularly suitable for use with astronomical eyepieces in the popular 1.25" mounting standard. To use such an eyepiece, simply turn the mounting ring to the left and, after removing the mounted eyepiece, insert a new eyepiece in its place. Specialized astronomical eyepieces, especially those with a fixed focal length, allow for very large fields of view and extremely sharp images even at the edges.
In rifle scopes, binoculars and spotting scopes ED (extra-low dispersion) glass (also sometimes referred to as a high density - HD - glass) is a high quality optical glass that increases light transmission, decreases light dispersion, and so cuts down on chromatic aberration, or "color fringing", which is due to the splitting of the light spectrum.
